  7. Approved giving $3,000 to AFSC Foundation.

  8. Approved NPYM's accepting assets from monthly meetings that are laid down. (Out of concern brought forward from Eastside Monthly Meeting when seeking mortgage)
NPYM has hired a new bookkeeper, Phyllis Shelton.  Since our new treasurer does not live near a Key Bank, we are also in the process of changing our bank accounts to Washington Mutual.  We minute our appreciation to Chris Willard for his seven years of service as NPYM treasurer.

TO DO                     [back to top of page]
  • Minute on Drug War: Steering Committee asks Walla Walla Preparative Meeting to prepare background information and resources, to be distributed to Monthly Meetings and Worship Groups by NPYM Secretary for further seasoning, before deciding if Minute is to be brought before Annual Session 2008.  Monthly Meetings and Worship Groups should respond to Walla Walla with any feedback they develop.

  • The Committee on the Discipline (rewriting Faith and Practice) is glad to be invited to your Monthly Meeting to discuss their draft revisions. Contact person is committee clerk Timothy Travis, Bridge City Meeting. Individuals are urged to season their input through their Monthly Meeting. A study guide has been prepared by Jill Hoyenda in Eugene. Steering Committee Clerk will ask her to make it available for posting on the website, and hard copy by request from NPYM Secretary.

  • Pre-Nominating Committee has been working to find one more person for Nominating Committee. If Friends have suggestions for Friends who might serve on Nominating Committee they should let the pre-nominating committee know. (Pre-Nominating Committee consists of quarterly meeting clerks and the Clerk of Steering Committee).
