North Pacific Yearly Meeting

We hope our theme will inspire Friends to offer and attend a variety of Interest groups. Interest groups are your opportunity to share interests or teach skills on a broad range of topics. Each session lasts an hour and a half. To offer an interest group, it is not necessary to be an expert on the topic. You may bring much or little resource information, but you should bring some idea of how to explore the topic with others -- usually through a group discussion, presentation and / or activity. Think creatively! Education, sharing experiences, and having fun are all great!

Interest groups are scheduled for Friday and Saturday afternoons. You may offer a single session on Friday or Saturday, you may offer to repeat the same interest group both days, or you may offer a 2-day interest group.

If you are interested in leading an interest group, please send the Interest Group Proposal Form [Word] [PDF] directly to Rocky Garrison, Interest Group Coordinator, at garrison@zzz.com as soon as possible. The Interest Group Coordinator will contact you as to whether your proposal is accepted. Any proposals received after the registration deadline will not be considered.

We are prioritizing Interest Groups as they relate to the theme. The description you provide will be listed on the interest group sign-up sheets at the Annual Session.
