MEETING NOTES AND INFORMATION


Current Decisions and To Do List (April 26, 2008)


Decisions Reached:
  • Approved Susanne Kromberg as 2008 Northwest Yearly Meeting Visitor.
  • Approved O&V job description, with details to be worked out with Structure Implementation Committee.
  • Approved process for combining and seasoning Climate Change Minutes from Corvallis and Missoula Meetings.
  • Approved Nominations with some adjustments to dates. New M&O will start May 1, 2008.
  • Laid down Rae Lawrence's support committee.
  • Approved $150 to be budgeted for Friends Peace Teams for core administrative expenses in 2009 and approved giving $150 in 2008 from unbudgeted opportunities line.
  • Approved presenting budget with changes as discussed to be brought to Business Meeting at AS 2008.

To Do:

  • Watch for updates to website. Contact Ed Averill (eda@acm.org) or Felix (parallel@gmail.com) if you have website needs. Website address is www.npym.org. (PS: It is mostly updated as of April 25; please check it out.) Full information on contacting meetings will be added as soon as the directory process begins and information is confirmed.
  • Consult with your MM about transportation concerns (cost to get to AS, alternative transportation ideas), bring back ideas to SC.
  • Youth Opportunity Fund deadline is May 1. Forms are available on NPYM website or through Secretary.
  • Present AS Financial Aid policy from 2007 to your MM for review and to encourage AS attendance.
  • Discuss and return feedback on Climate Change minutest to Susan Swanstrom (susan.swanstrom@gmail.com) and/or Roger Weaver (weaverr66timmy@yahoo.com).
  • Consider and get feedback on report from Ad Hoc Commmittee on Affiliations, bring to SC in July.
  • Present for discussion to your M M that F&L recommends increase in assessment by 10% to $44 in two years. This will be on the SC agenda for more discernment in July 08.
  • Bring revised proposed NPYM 2008 budget to review for AS Business Meeting July 08.
  • Review with MM the Harassment information for consideration at July SC.
